Emery Park, 42 Segar Mountain Road (Route 341W): seasonal, spring-fed swimming area (park pass required to swim and register for swim lessons) is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. mid-June to August; playground, picnic areas with grills, hiking trail. Park open dawn to dusk.

Kent Common Park, Swifts Lane: playground, tennis courts (park pass required to use the courts), pavilion with picnic facilities can be rented for events (includes option for access to electricity) by calling 860-927-1003. Park open dawn to dusk.

Kent Community House, North Main Street (adjacent the First Congregational Church): Park and Rec classes are held here.
 
Playing Fields at Kent Center School, 9 Judd Avenue: Park and Rec has jurisdiction over the softball and baseball field and soccer fields weekdays after 5 p.m. as well as weekends.

Kent Falls, Lake Waramaug and Macedonia Brook Parks are state-run parks. Information about these parks is available from the State of Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection at 866-287-2757.
