After School Program
The program is designed to meet the needs of Kent Center School children, kindergarten eligible through the sixth grade, who need a structured, supervised environment at the end of the school day. The program meets Monday through Friday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in the Kent Center School cafeteria and follows the KCS calendar, meeting only on days the school is in session for a full day. The cost is $11/day and includes snack and homework time, indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts and games. Park and Recreation offers some scholarship assistance, funded by the Kent Community Fund, for the program. Application available by speaking with the Park and Recreation director, 860-927-1003, or email to email@example.com. Registration is accepted throughout the school year. Per Connecticut General Statute 19a-77, Kent Park and Recreation is required to disclose that our services and programs are not licensed by the State Office of Early Childhood.
UPDATE: Families should email KCS by 10 a.m. on a day their child is attending the program (firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com) instead of sending the school a paper note.
